Avengers: Infinity War is breaking records at the worldwide box office!

Marvel‘s Avengers: Infinity War is unstoppable at the box office ever since it released on April 27. The film has gone on a record breaking spree not only in the North American market, but at the overseas box office too. The Marvel release is dominating the world and on day 6, the superhero film crossed the $800 million mark at the worldwide box office. As trade analyst and industry tracker – Ramesh Bala revealed about this feat and the breakdown of collections in America and the overseas market, when he tweeted, “#AvengersInfinityWar crosses $800 Million mark at the Worldwidw Box Office. As of Tuesday – May 1st. International – $502.5 Million. North America – $306 Million. Total – $808.5 Million.”

Avengers: Infinity War has amassed such a massive amount courtesy the huge buzz and anticipation for the film. The fact that several character tracks would change forever and many secrets would be revealed, made fans rush to the theatres to watch the film. This gave the movie an insane opening across the world. And after people started raving about it, a tremendous word of mouth publicity developed for the movie and this pushed it to rake in a larger amount at the box office across the world. The fantastic reviews from the critics also played a huge factor in the latest installment of Avengers to sustain so well at the ticket window.

Looking at the current trends, Avengers: Infinity War is set to continue its blockbuster run at the box office. It should touch the $1 billion mark at the worldwide market in a couple of days.
