It is somewhat puzzling as any other celeb would set the record straight in some way or the other.
Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s surprise wedding was truly one of the ‘shocking news’ of the year. We didn’t even know them as good friends let alone as a couple. As everyone knows, rumours of the actress being pregnant started doing the rounds post that. However, her father Pradeep Singh Dhupia cleared the air saying that people were speculating as it was a sudden marriage. He told a publication, “There is no such thing at all. Since the two got married early, people are thinking otherwise. But there is no such thing. People will keep talking about things and spread rumours as per their wish.” Though he clarified, the buzz around her being preggers did not seem to die down. The actress too did not speak up on the matter.
Recently, even Angad said in an interview with Zoom that as a couple they would share information when they wanted to. He said, “If someone wants to say something, I am not here to comment on anybody’s statement. Everybody has a right to their opinion, I feel whenever we want to make anything public, we will as a couple – whether it’s our personal front or professional work – whatever we want to share, we will willingly come forward and do that. We shared our wedding pictures but if we want to keep it private then that’s how it will be done. It’s not that we hid anything from anybody, we tweeted ourselves. There are certain calls that we should make as a couple and there are certain things as a family we want to keep private, we will keep private.”
However, in the middle of all this, we can’t help but notice Neha’s recent sartorial outings. She has always loved comfy roomy stuff but her clothes are doing literally nothing to squash the pregnancy rumours. If we go by past observations, in most cases, celebs would have proved the rumours wrong in some way or the other.
