Marathi movie industry has already making the country proud with its numerous achievements on the global level. Yet another example would be of this would ‘Paani’, the film by Adinath Kothare which was screened at New York Film Festival in the United States of America.
A few days ago, the film was screened at this festival. Paani deals with the story of Nagderwadi, a village in Nanded. A villager from the town, Hanumant worked hard to make water available for their village. Today, the village is also able to supply water to the surrounding villages.

Reportedly, Adinath also won the ‘Best Actor Award’ at this film festival. The report in Maharashtra Times also states that the actor, producer received this news on his birthday. Wasn’t it the best birthday gift?
