Actor Varun Dhawan says Shoojit Sircar’s October has given him a chance to do something “different” after a long time and that it was a life-changing experience for him
Actor Varun Dhawan, who is gearing up for the release of “October”, says being directed by Shoojit Sircar in the film has been one of his biggest achievements.
“I would do nothing different. Surrendering to Shoojit Sircar’s vision and being directed by him has been one of my biggest achievements. We can only grow when we work with people more talented then us and this experience for me has been just that. ‘October’,” Varun tweeted on Sunday.
Actor Varun Dhawan says Shoojit Sircar’s “October” has given him a chance to do something “different” after a long time and that it was a life-changing experience for him.
“Working with Shoojit da was my dream, which has been fulfilled now. After a long time, I have done something which is different,” Varun said here on Friday on the sidelines of Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2017.
The shoot of “October” was wrapped up in Manali ahead of schedule.
Of his experience, Varun said: “It feels amazing. We wrapped up the film in 38 days. ‘October’ is more than a film to me. I don’t want to say much about it, but this film has definitely impacted me so much as a human being. I think it has definitely changed me as a human being.”
Co-produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, “October” celebrates love, nature and the autumn season.
Varun plays a housekeeper at a hotel who is in love with the idea of love. The girl whom he follows into the ICU of a hospital barely acknowledges him at their workplace. Yet he clings to the idea of love.
The film also stars Banita Sandhu and is slated to release on April 13.
