Ajay Devgn’s son Yug watched Raid and you need to check out his review

We are loving Yug’s review of Ajay Devgn’s Raid.

March 16th is finally here! The much awaited movie, Raid starring Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’cruz will hit theatres today. The movie is based on a high profile IT raid that took place in the country back in the 80s. Ajay Devgn plays a fearless, morally bound Tax officer form Uttar Pradesh. The movie is set in 1980S in Uttar Pradesh. The trailer garnered praise for its riveting story and Ajay Devgn ‘s IT officer avatar that reminded fans of their favourite Singham. While film will hit theatre, a screening of the same was organised for the celebs last night. Kajol and family happened to watch it last night. Here’s what she had to say -My review of Raid:- Loved it. Laughed, clapped and wanted to take Amma home with me ! but it was Yug’s review that tickled us. Turns out after watching the film, here’s what Ajay Devgn’s son had to say about Raid – I learnt about income tax! How cute is that? He actually has a point there. We definitely like his review more than Kajol’s!

Here’s what our movie critic Ankita Chaurasia had to say – “Amey Patnaik (Ajay Devgn), an Income Tax officer, is honest to a fault. So much so, that you want him to falter at times. Sample this: He wakes up at 4:30, does everything by the clock, follows rules no matter how silly they seem, goes to parties with his own bottle of rum so as not to be indebted to others. In short, he is the very definition of an ideal citizen. Raid is a great watch if you want inspiration to file your IT returns on time. Raid is a decent watch, even otherwise. However, don’t expect it to bowl you over.”


This will be Ajay Devgn’s first release in 2018. His last film – Golmaal Again was one of the biggest hits of 2017. Before that he was part of another multi starrer Baadshaho that fared decently at the box office
