Day 2 of the India Today Conclave, 2018 saw the Kapoor sister – Kareena and Karishma come together for a session titled – The Kapoor Clan: Film, Family, Feminism. As usual, both made for distinguishing style statement – Karishma looked gorgeous in a black dress, while Kareena played it sophisticated in an all-white suit. We especially the sleeves of both their outfits. The gorgeous sisters defined woman power in style in a picture with the US secretary of State – Hilary Clinton. It’s a picture that ought to be framed. The sisters broached several subjects.When asked about nepotism, Karishma said, “It’s about talent. Se may be anybody’s children or grandchildren. But once you are on the silver screen, you are anyone. Anyone can criticise you. They also revealed that the two have never been competitive. “I don’t think we have ever had that competitive vibe. By God’s grace, we both have had great careers and have made our own little contribution to Hindi cinema.” revealed Karishma. She also categorically stated – It’s a male-dominated industry and has always been for generations. But it’s changing slowly.
Kareena Kapoor also spoke about Taimur – My life is no more my own. My heart no more beats inside me. It beats in this gorgeous-looking boy that I sleep next to every night and everything is in his two tiny hands. She revealed that Saif was almost going to change his name to Faiz following the severe backlash but Kareena refused to let the pressure get the better of them.
